Charity Accounts
FA has been used to raise funds for NCSF, Bound By Desire, and the Leather Archives and Museum in Chicago. We hope the communities continue to come to FA to raise funds for their worthy causes. Please contact FA to learn more about our programs for events and clubs.
FA is offering our services for all communities who raise funds for non profit organizations or people who are in need in their local communities. We care about our communities and want to be here for you. We hope this feature will enable you to raise funds and draw from the larger community rather than only raising funds locally.A charity account will not incur any charges. We want you to keep the full funds you raise. Each listing will also be marked with a special icon denoting it as a charity auction. We have a link in our main menu where all FA clients may view a full listing of all charity items on auction. We also have configured a search link that will allow charity items to be searched by seller or the charity category. We will also be pleased to supply you with FA business cards so you may publicize your charity auctions.
For single person fundraising endeavors, we will offer an account for six weeks free of charge if all your funds are going to charity. If you are only offering a percentage of your auctions for charity, we will discount your account for the percentage you are offering to charity. When we bill your account, we will take that percentage off your bill. At the end of six weeks, you may reapply if you need more time to raise funds. For non and not for profits or political organizations, we will offer annual accounts.
Qualifying Entities and Guidelines:
Single person charities in need of relief due to fire, illness, documented tragedy or natural disaster.
You will need to demonstrate a publicly known effort for relief
You will need to provide substantiating documentation
Verbal contact and disclosure of the organizing entities for relief
Not for profit, non profit or political organization
Verbal contact and disclosure of the organizing entities
Faxed confirmation of organizational status
Annual check-in to continue account.
Third Party Fundraisers or Local Organization Fundraiser
Documentation regarding the fundraising effort and organizational structure
Reason for fundraising endeavor
Contact information of the charity you intend to donate to and the name of the person you are working with at that organization.
To Apply:
Email us and send your name, phone number, the best time to reach you and a general outline of why you are raising funds. We will contact you within 72 hours for further information and substantiating documents.
The above guidelines are part of how we will verify you and your claim.
